Justin Brokop, MC

Therapy for people who want to understand themselves more deeply.

You may know that something needs to change without being entirely sure what that change looks like. I offer counselling to help you understand what is keeping you stuck and move toward a life that feels more intentional and genuinely your own.

What brings people to therapy?

ADHD & executive functioning

Difficulty with focus, organization, follow-through, time management, or feeling chronically overwhelmed.

02

Anxiety & overwhelm

Persistent worry, stress, overthinking, or feeling like your mind rarely switches off.

03

Self-esteem & self-criticism

Harsh self-judgment, difficulty trusting yourself, or feeling that you are never quite doing enough.

04

Clarity about the future

Uncertainty about what matters to you, what comes next, or how to move forward.

05

Relationship patterns

Difficulties with boundaries, communication, or recurring patterns in relationships.

06

Identity, meaning & purpose

Questions about who you are, what matters to you, or how you want to live moving forward.

How I work

Therapy can help you recognize the patterns, beliefs, and experiences shaping how you respond to the world. My role is to help you see yourself more clearly and explore what change might be possible.

We may look at the past, work with something happening now, or do both. My approach is collaborative, reflective, and practical, drawing from psychodynamic, person-centred, and cognitive-behavioural therapy to fit your needs.

About Justin

I hold a master’s degree in counselling psychology from Athabsaca University and a BA in Psychology from UBC. I bring more than a decade of experience in coaching and consulting and have researched ADHD since 2023.

Meaningful change becomes more possible when people understand themselves more clearly.

I work with curiosity, directness, and respect for the complexity of each person’s experience. Together, we consider your history, relationships, values, strengths, and present circumstances—not just the problem that brought you to counselling.
